Woodland Hills contractor,
building more home across three counties.
We're a California design-build company obsessed with one thing: unlocking square footage on the property you already own — legally, beautifully, and without the horror stories.
Born from remodels. Rebuilt for the ADU era.
HomeAdd started the way most great Valley contractors start — with a handful of home additions for neighbors, done well enough that the phone never stopped ringing. When California opened the door to ADUs, we saw what our clients actually needed: not a bigger house on a bigger lot, but more usable, permitted space on the property they already loved.
So we rebuilt the company around it. We coordinated architecture and permit management under one contract. We standardized detailed design-build proposals so families weren't gambling on open allowances. And we invested in project managers who work in the neighborhoods we build in — Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Encino, Sherman Oaks, and out through the Conejo Valley.
Today we're a California design-build company delivering detached ADUs, attached ADUs, above-garage units, JADUs, garage conversions, and full home additions across Los Angeles, Orange County, and Ventura — with a 5-star rating on our Google Business Profile that we've earned by treating every project like it's next door.
Four things we refuse to compromise on.
Architecture, engineering, permits, and construction under one roof. One team accountable from first sketch to final walkthrough — no finger-pointing between designer and builder.
We work LADBS, LA County, Ventura County, and every OC building department daily. We know local ADU ordinances, setback quirks, fire zones, and coastal overlays before we quote you.
Detailed line-item budgets after design. No mystery allowances, no vague change orders, no surprise draws mid-build.
Every project gets a named PM, a private client portal, and a weekly on-site walkthrough. You always know what happened last week and what's happening next week.
Years of building — and re-building the model.
- RootsRooted in the Valley
Started with room additions and remodels across Woodland Hills, Tarzana, and Encino for neighbors and referrals.
- FocusAll-in on ADUs
California's ADU reforms opened the door. We built our practice around detached, attached, and garage-conversion ADUs for infill lots.
- IntegrateDesign-build under one roof
Coordinated architecture, permitting, and construction so clients get one contract, one timeline, one accountable team.
- TodayLA, OC & Ventura
Serving cities across three counties from our Woodland Hills HQ, with a coordinated team of PMs, designers, and trade partners.
Every kind of ADU. Every kind of addition.
We only build one category of thing — additive residential square footage — and we build every version of it. That specialization is why our projects price cleanly, permit faster, and finish on time.

Headquartered in Woodland Hills. Building across three counties.
Our shop and design studio sit on Buenaventura St, which puts a crew inside most Valley and Westside zip codes within 30 minutes. We routinely run projects through Orange County and Ventura from the same base.

HomeAdd built a detached ADU on our property and did an excellent job. From the beginning the team took the time to understand what we needed and helped us navigate the design and permitting process. They stayed on budget, communication was top-notch, and the final ADU is a perfect addition to our home.
